Fractures caused by this tumour type are seen in 50% of cases.
Metastases occur more towards the heart, the pericardium, the skin and other bones than towards the lungs.
Bone fibrosarcoma is rare and forms less than 5% of primary tumours of the bone.
A lump on the bone can be observed as a consequence of the space the tumour is taking. If metastases occur towards other bones, then limping can take place.
